Timber Sports Pavilions

Timber Sports Pavilions

We've supplied sport pavilions for clubs and organisations for well over 100 years for Cricket, Bowls and Tennis Clubs. Our Club Range buildings are versatile and also serve as local community and school sports pavilions, changing rooms and scout and guide huts.

Utilising proven design, modern energy efficient joinery and latest timber treatment technology are combined at Passmores to deliver a fine range of low maintenance, long lasting timber pavilions.

Our modular construction system will cater for the great majority of individual designs and our standard buildings meet the requirements of the National Lottery Sports Council, ECB and LTA

Pavilions are available in spans of 3.0m - 9.0m and come with 25 degree pitch roofs ready for felt or ready for slate.

Our environmental credentials speak for themselves. Passmores remain the only sectional timber buildings manufacturer to have achieved FSC® chain of custody certification. Buy from Passmores and you can be absolutely sure that the timber in your building comes from responsibly managed forests.

Many clubs tell us that membership increases after installation of a new pavilion and with literally hundreds of satisfied clubs throughout the UK you can feel confident that a Passmore building represents a sound investment.

Whether your requirement is simply for an additional changing room or if you are in the market for a complete pavilion, retail outlet or Scout HQ a Passmore Club Range Building offers the scope and flexibility to cater for all situations.

We deliver Club Range buildings throughout the UK and into mainland Europe. Our timber buildings enjoy a high degree of craftsmanship in our factory and are supplied 100% complete including detailed packing lists, component labelling, spare materials and assembly instructions.

Passmores offers pavilion erection, roofing, insulation and internal lining services within our delivery zones 1 and 2 (see delivery map) and we are delighted to undertake as much or as little of the site work as you require. Quite often we erect the basic shell of the building leaving club members to deal with other aspects.

Frequently Asked Questions

This will usually depend on the size, height and location of the proposed new building.

If you are positioning the building close to a boundary or in front of the building line of your home when viewed from the road, then planning consent is usually required.

If the building is to be behind the house, more than 2.0m from a boundary and provided the ridge height is less than 4.0m, then you may not need permission, assuming it is for non business use. Most garden sheds and chalets therefore do not need local authority permission.

However, if you live in a listed property or within a conservation area then planning permission is nearly always required.

The Government Planning Portal www.planningportal.gov.uk contains a wealth of additional information and includes an interactive guide covering most circumstances.
